Official statements from the Canadian Prime Minister's Office reveal that bilateral merchandise trade expanded by 50% over the past year, alongside a 35% increase in Canadian exports to Ghana.

To institutionalize this growth, the leaders endorsed a newly signed Letter of Intent aimed at establishing a comprehensive Canada-Ghana economic cooperation framework. The upcoming framework is designed to unlock commercial partnerships across key sectors, including critical minerals, renewable energy, mining, and infrastructure development. Both heads of state reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining close diplomatic channels to foster mutual economic resilience.
